I figured it would be what we all know SHOULD be acceptable over at the bigger forum, and then *maybe just a little more.

Not quite like MT.net...which I can't surf at work without hovering the cursor over the red X button on top of the window...but not somewhere I have to backspace that last joke or prod because I'm worried it will ruffle the feathers of some guy that thinks a Ferrari body kit and FFS are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Or NC? Personally, those threads interest me because I like looking at different Miatas. The people at M.net and CR.net are soooo different. I'm hoping this one sort of bridges the gap.

Well put, was that a stab at me...lol. I only do that on mt.net. When I get drunk on m.net, I just make fun of Capt. yo-yo.

I hope it's a little less harsh to noobs than MT and a little less "look at my hellaflush" than CR and a little more young than M. Might get drunk and random post though, just don't take it personal. We are all allowed our doush moments. Miss the lets all be friends net, before the trolls came out from under a bridge.

No, the other night I started a thread with the above as the title. I think it was quickly removed by mods. I too am no stranger to drunken shenanigans.

here's how I put it:

Seriously - I'm trying to serve the community. What's missing?
Over the years we have established a member base of more than just turbo guys, but a lot of those members don’t actively seek advice over there because of that fact. Others don't even post at all, let alone access, because of the reputation.

We also have members that have qualms about things with [M.net] as well as with CR.net.

So this was kind of the next logical step for us; to see if we could fill a void, so to speak, between the two.

Step above m.net/cr.net and step below mt.net is how I see it.

MT.net will always be THE place to go if you want a no BS group of regulars who are super smart and will give you what you need as long as you don't expect to be spoon fed.

MFz.com will be a great place for the noobs to get access to a lot of the really smart MT.net guys with out being harrassed and hazed so much they either end up banned, or get fed up and leave (since they can't figure out all they need to do is read). Plus we can pull in the really smart guys from m.net as well since we are more "friendly" here.

I'm diggin it here so far, can't wait to get more work on my car so I can contribute some.
