NA H4 Headlight Conversion Review
As most NA miata owners will say the stock headlights leave a lot to be desired, there are many companys making the housing for the H4 bulbs, eBay carries a Few, and most of the vendors carry a kit. I went with the Flyin Miata Kit, Link
Installation was a piece of cake, with the headlights popped. 4 screws remove the plastic cover around the standard headlight. 4 more remove the top portion.
Compare the stock bulb to the new housings
Made the front end look newer.
My pictures of the light patterns didnt turn out, i will charge my real camera and get some new pics of the h4's. i shattered the old sealed beams

Did the same upgrade on both my cars.Hella on the Celica and Bosch on the Miata. They're a big improvement from the stock sealed beams. The high beam is a little high on both but I never use high beams anyway.

Yup first thing I did after installing them, got some masking tape and found a level surface with a wall. Just like here http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html
The problem is I think the beam separation is too large. So if I aim them down more then the low beam is too low, high beam is perfect. If I adjust the low beams to spec than the high beam is too high. Again not a big problem for me since I barely use high beams but for someone that uses both a lot it might be annoying. I've read that Cibies don't have that problem, but those are more than double the price.
