I gotta see your garage for ideas. I've been thinking what I want to do with mine. I just insulated the door and am planning to running a new Sub panel and then 220 for a heater and A/C. I also have a dream to get a 4 post lift someday.

I try to do all my own car work, but I'm pretty amateur. I still don't have all the tools I need. Last year, i took the car back to the farm in Indiana for the winter to do all my work.

I just taught myself everything. I was an engineer in the Navy for 12 years, and the principles of machinery never change be it ship, car, or house. It's just a machine. Take it apart, clean it, paint it, put it back together. There's no better way to learn how it works.

Agreed, same here. It's just I usually take it apart and have to reassemble it two or three times before I get it right.

I was just out all last night in the city with the top down. There were quite a few cars out at the Dominicks off Roosevelt and at Whole foods. We all then went to lower wacker. Though, my buddy blew up his srt4 last night. Shot 2 rods through the block.

Also happened to see a lambo flying down lakeshore. Sounded awesome. And a what looked like a Ferrari 360 getting on I94.

I just moved from that area up to the North Burbs. I lived in the South Loop by Soldier Field. I'm so glad I don't have to go shop at that Domonics or Walgreens on Roosevelt anymore. Here, I have no worries that my wife will get mugged buying milk.

I'll miss the ride up to X-Sport along Michigan during the summer though. I have to say, the park is very beautiful in the summer and so is the gym if you know what I mean. The problem with LSD is it's all beat to hell. Late at night it's dead and you can cruise it, but it's just in such poor condition.

Sucks to hear about your buddies SRT4. I take it he was running a lot more the stock boost? My cousin has one and I finally got the weenie to take it to the track last summer. They are fast cars and aren't too bad in the turns.

Took the Miata out to go explore my new neighborhood. Checked out Lindenhurst, Antioc, Villa Park, and several other areas I have no clue about their names. Saw quite a few guys out for one last drive before the snow hits including a red miata with a wing that some 747 driver is probably pissed he stole.

After the drive I spent the afternoon replacing the turbo hoses on my friends Golf 1.8T. That was a pain in the *** and ate up the rest of my daylight. Tomorrow, I begin working on my own car!

Heard about a Mazda Meet going on this month. Why they'd do it on a January I have no idea. -__-" Hate the salt/snow. Rust is baaaaaaaaaad.
