Default Distance to the track

so, just out of curiosity, what is the farthest you are willing to travel for a track day?

I am just at about 5 hours max. I wouldn't mind going farther though if we could get a track MEET!

yea, you Cali people have a ton more tracks in the area. NC CAR just got finished, but none of the clubs have started using it yet... So the closest track to me is 2.5 hours pretty much.

We have two tracks here (Summit Point and VIR). I know a few people in my area willing to drive the 4 hours to the second. I'm only willing to drive to the one about an hour out.

I'm enjoying the choices we have here in Texas as well.

Harris Hill Road (45 minutes)
Driveway Austin (1.5 hours)
Texas World Speedway (3 hours)
MotorSport Ranch - Houston (3.5 hours)
MotorSport Ranch - Cresson (4 hours)
Eagles Canyon (5 hours)

I'll be going up to Hallett in Oklahoma next month for Miatas @ Hallett which is about a 9 hour drive and that's the farthest I will go. Otherwise Eagles Canyon at 5 hours would be pushing it.

I'd be willing to drive a few hours....like to VIR, Mid-Ohio, or Sebring.
From me-
TGP is about 1.5 hrs away
Road Atlanta is 30min away
CMP is about 4 hrs away
the new Atlanta Motorsports Park is about 45min away (under construction)
Barber Motorsports Park is about 2hrs away

I'm willing to drive to Road Atlanta which is about eight hours each way. But it is the kind of track that is worth it. I wouldn't drive over 2 hours to go to Sebring because it just isn't as much worth it. Lucky for me it is only 45 minutes away.
