Default Injectors

What are the biggest injectors that the stock 1.6 ecu can handle and still run good.

Stock. The factory ECU is not capable of distinguishing different size injectors.

However, I'm sure a RRFPR can help you squeeze out more fuel from the stock injectors. Just don't expect a miracle when you install 440's and turn the key with the stock ECU.

I would not run more power than the stock injectors can handle, on a stock ecu. Or at least with some bandaid usage.

i have a RRFPR, i was thinking 1.8 injectors since they flow just a little more than the 1.6's.

I think it's around 350. Could be wrong, but it's idle where the issue is. Everywhere else a little extra fuel doesn't hurt, and of course you need it in boost. But at idle the stock ecu will always think it's using 235cc injectors and about 350 won't idle good.

yes everyone has told me they would work, they were sold to me with my supercharger but I am not going to use them and I dont want to break them up not because there a steller combo but because i have no use for them together or alone and i dont want to be stuck with them . I think my price is cheep though

I was told they would be good up to around 210 hp

I heard that 305cc Supra injectors were on the ragged edge and offered terrible richness and poor drivability except when making positive manifold pressure. I know people have run even richer than them but there is a difference between running well and running like you are burning pine logs and turpentine. Idle and cruise economy will suffer accordingly but that is a trade off.

***Do you know what an O2 Clamp is and why you will need one if you do this?***
