Default MX5 locksmith help

This is an almost three year old car. Pretty sweet ride. Couldn’t expect better mileage. I like the safety feature upgrades. But for some reason the door does not unlock with the manual key? Do you think calling a locksmith will prove to be too expensive?

well.. it depends on the amount of servicing the lock needs. Locksmiths are considered expensive.. but I don't think so.

Most of the time the lock on the door gets water in it then the aluminum oxidizes.

Get some PB blaster and squirt some in the lock hole then see if the key will turn.

Don't force it spray it a few times and let it sit if you work the lock slowly it might start to turn then keep spraying and working it.

This might save you a repair bill for something that is just stuck from not using it.

Absolutely, locksmith around me quote me less than the dealer but that work isn't their cup of tea.

It's not easy to deal with that particular issue but locksmiths are experts in resolving those issues, that's the reason in such circumstances, everybody prefers to hire

It's better to get the new lock than to get the new key as that key will not work for more time. Take help from any locksmith and get a new key.

Local locksmith near here are pretty much cheap if you compare their prices with the dealership, whether you need any lock service or key replacement.

You mean say water causes the problem in the locks but the local locksmith near me has told me something else for this issue.
