Default Shocks, Koni/Bilstein/etc

Looking for some good shocks for this season. I'm leaning heavily toward a FCM setup, but I wanted to see what used stuff is out there before I pull the trigger.

I need something that will handle 550-700 spring-rates, so standard Koni yellow's valving wouldn't handle it very long. Standard Bilsteins wouldn't like those rates either. So I'm looking for some revalved Koni's, revalved Bilsteins, Koni race, or the like. I'm also open to a GOOD coilover setup like Tein Flex, AFCO's, XIDA clubsports( ), etc.

I'm looking for NB shock mounts(top-hats) as well. FCM's shock mounts are one pretty penny and I wish I would of kept the NB top-hats I had two years back, lol.

well a used set of msm bilsteins+revalve would run you no more than $500-600, so might want to open up to just used bilsteins in general. just a bit of advice.

I don't know if I will be selling mine anytime soon though :/

I might sell my msm bilstiens, I just gotta cop out and pick up a set of coils soon. But that might not be for a month or 2. I wouldn't pay more then $350 for a used set of msm shocks/springs fyi. You could probably get yourself a set of bilstien HD's with FM springs for a little more then that.

Eh, I just ordered some clubsports. Might as well do it right the first time.

agreed, I feel like I should do the same, but I just can't pork up the ~2400 for the ones I want.

$1950 with the NB top-hats. I opted out of the dual springs for this year. I'll get them next year when the car is on the track more often.

Even if I sold my teins, I'd have to cough up too much cash to make them worth it to me. Sad, cause I know how baller they are.

I feel the same as Scott. Me and my little VmaxII will have at it for a while longer. Must keep saving for Turbo.
