So, last night I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder. I am having an issue with bleeding it. What is the process of doing this on the 1994 Miata? I have almost given up on this and ready to take it to someone else to do this for me.

you need a second hand to help you. The process is simple, first you want to hook up a hose to the bleeder screw and put the other end in some container you don't care for. Then execute these in order:

1) clutch person pushes the clutch in and HOLDS IT IN.
2) bleeder person opens the bleeder valve for a second or two and close it.
3) clutch person lets the clutch out, then pumps it 2-3 times and holds it in again.
4) do #2 again.
5)repeat 1-4 until your clutch is doing well.

if you dont have a helper
go to autoparts store rent a power bleeder
hook it up to air compressor and slave
open bleeder valve and pull trigger
suck a bit through close and try it out

When you open the bleeder, reach in there and push the rod all the way into the bore, it'll go farther in than the fork will push it and you'll get out those last bits of frustration and anger (bubbles) quickly and easily.

Or just Mityvac it.

Is the MityVac something that can be rented or is it another purchase for the tool box?

Buy it, read the directions carefully and understand how it works and it is a worthy investment.

I've heard with the proper adapters and containers you can vacuum seal your MMJ jars to prolong freshness.

Well I went down and bought the MityVac. I am still not able to get all the air out of the slave cylinder. Can some one post a picture of your set up for the MityVac that you use for bleeding the slave cylinder? This is getting frustrating, is there anything that I need to do to the vacuum lines prior to attaching it to the bleeder screw? I have bleed brakes and other clutch systems on other car I have owned and have never had this issue before. What makes the Miata any different. I do appreciate the help that everyone has given me. I am just at my wits end. At this time I might just want to take it to a mechanic and have them do it! I just want to drive the car!!! LOL

ik when did my brakes with one line still looked like it was pulling air out but i borrowed the tool from my mechanic he said that happens regularly to the one he owns.
