This is normal.

I would think any state you live in would require any emissions that came on the car to be on it for inspection or to resale.
States that do not make you go to an inspection station usually do spot checks at road blocks or if you get pulled over for something
So you amy want to be sure before removing

That's the Vortech for ya. Or any AFPR. Same thing happened with me, along with boiling fuel out the overflow when I deleted my charcole canister, although that was at the track.

All those issues, dozens of vacuum lines and wires, and about 10-15lbs of AFM, AFPR, O2 clamp, and Bipes all went away when I got MS. Just saying.

Bro, please. Don't be one of those people. You drive a miata, not a ford excursion.

After ditching mine, I would NEVER go back to a power rack. You'll feel much safer at highway speeds, too (and those times when you go a bit faster ). The car control is unreal.

That only works for +25mph. Any slower and you'll really notice the extra fluid you're pushing around the pump. Gotta drain the fluid and ideally cut out the inner seal to get rid of as much friction as possible.

As for the Charcoal Canister, get one from an NB from the wrecking yard. Its smaller and fits the same mounting location...
