Default Rough est. of dimensions

I apoligize for intruding your forums, but I am in need of some info I can't find anywhere. I used to own a NA 90' with 45k original miles all the way up till the deer decided she liked my car better than me. Was a really fun car. I am wanting to bring a lil bit of miata into my new project. I really like the 01-05 motors in these cars with a supercharger on top. J want to put one in my project. So my question is does anyone know "rough" measurements of the engine front to back, side to side, and up and down. And also the measurements of trans. 5 speed and 6 speed if possible. But I'm not getting my hopes up over 6 speed due to tjere is not as many as the 5 speed. And I don't really need exact, just trying to see if it will will fit in engine bay and if trans will fit as well. Sorry if this is so confusing, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks so much for the help!

VVT motor is wicked with a turbo.

Any miata motor with a supercharger is sad.

I know the Turbo would much faster. But I'm just looking at something fun and less maintenance.

But I have a 79 Ford Courier. I have some time before I do the swap but trying to get ideas.

on a side note, why not 2.3 turbo, or 5.0?

Justinian would rather avoid any turbo issues. Plus I'm not looking for fast in this truck. Just fun. And SC a lil easier to put on. I'm sure I could get away with turbo cheaper. And who knows I may go that route. I'm only getting ieas right now. You guys know these motors better than I do. So by then y'all might convince me to go turbo. Just gotta get the motor and tranny some how put into my truck first. Then I can build on from there. And I would rather not go V8 due to milage and modification I would have to do. Just a fun gas sipper is what I'm looking for.

What's that pic out of?

that is a 2.3L I4 Found in the SVO Mustang, Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, Merkur of some sort, Some Mercury's. but you want gas mileage and these are not very efficient. they came stock turbo'd though, and you can build some serious power with them.

lol are turbo issues; my only turbo issues are passing cars too quickly.

i also highly disagree that a SCer install is easier.

and now im confused, becuase it seems we are talking about doing this to a truck on a miata forum?
