Nice job on the headlights. If you've polished them, make sure to re-add some UV headlight protection!

OK, not today, but this month updates

* I got my Mazda Comp Sway Brackets welded on. I really need to learn to weld, I got raped on price.
* Reinstalled my Front Sway
* Finished my coolant reroute (Royal PITA, discovered new leak in the front I'll fix tonight).
* Bought off of SplitTime (Dave) a Hard Top and Wheel Quick Release
* Got my additional Steering Rack off of Atank to depower
* Put all the brackets back on that DieselMiata Powder Coated for me. (AWESOME!)
* Removed the A/C
* Removed both Air bags and installed Momo Race Wheel

That's all I was able to accomplish. I spent the rest of my free time playing with Schade and Diesel's cars. Diesel let me drive his bone stock NA. Wow, what a different feeling car from my bastardized NB.

Well yesterday sucked. I broke down and had to call the wife to come get me. Car just died while accelerating and wouldn't start. I was pulling P1345 and P0339 codes. I called Autozone and the hub nearby had a Cam Sensor in stock. Interwebs said it wasn't uncommon and go get the Cam Sensor as the crank was probably erroneous. So, I run up there and get the sensor and head home to load the wife and kid back in the truck and go get my car. Quickly swap the cam sensor and still the same problem. So, I go look closer at the crank sensor and that's when I notice that my trigger wheel is freely spinning. That will ruin your day!

Wife tows me home (bless her heart) and I tear her down. That's when I discover I'm more of a moron than I thought. I had not put the four bolts into the crank pulley. How did it last 200 miles of driving and why didn't it pop off when putting the belts on? It doesn't end there though. I can only find 3 bolts that fit, so I grab a stock bolt. It sheared off in the crank boss without any real torque dammit! So, I only put 3 on to see if I can get it to start and nothing. Figured out, I had the trigger on backwards and reinstalled and viola. It runs. But, now I need to fix that crank boss and find some better bolts.

sadness
