I had a friend drop a pair of earings somewhere in my 2009 NC, which I cannot find. despite lots of searching.

Removing seats are pretty tricky and i tried using a rachet. I might want to remove more plastic so i can also take out the carpets. I tried taking it to the dealership service department who gave a $600 asking price.

Oh no!

Let's hope that it didn't fall into "the black hole". There is a small opening in the carpet that leads to a little hole where things go - never to be seen again. I have no idea what it is there for, but I know many people that have dropped things in it and couldn't get it back out, only to have the sound of that item roll around driving them nuts. The "fix" for a lot of these folks was to fill that hole with expanding foam insulation. They never got their lost item out, but at least the noise stopped, and with it full of foam, never lost anything else down there.
