Smile CA Newbie

Just bought a '96 for $2500 in pretty good shape actually. Few minor faults but nothing killer yet.
The paint is nothing to write home about but it's shiny at least. It was fun driving through Malibu Canyon with the top down this morning!

Nice nice!! That is some serious stripe down the center.

What plans do you have for it?

Right now it's my daily driver. I don't think I'll ever get it to a track. That's what the guy I bought it from was in the process of doing when he ran out of money and luck. Needed to sell it to pay speeding tickets.

Thanks, its not too bad. Heat issues (fan out) and a bit of exhaust smell in the interior, but the top is new.

the passenger side fan is direct to the AC, so you can wire it into the driverside fan make sure you wire it correctly so you are pulling air through the radiator. you could try replacing the thermostat and putting fresh coolant in as well.

Yeah, I bought a new switch as well. I'll try swapping the connectors and see if it helps.
New fans are only 30 bucks on ebay (176 for manufacturer parts) and Used fans are only 30 bucks or so also. Thanks though any advice helps.
