How are the WCMC events? I haven't joined myself, but thought about trying out a few AutoX events for those times when I can't make it to the track.

I was interested in doing it then I looked at some in car footage @ Alexian and it looked boring compared to Gingerman footage.

As I understand it, if I compete in two AutoX events and get my *** kicked, I can then apply for one year of Mazda Speed parts. It's worth the two days for that.

From what people are telling me, AutoX events count. Attend two and save your results. Then you may apply.

just to clarify, ANY timed event counts. If you don't have timed events, they will accept membership cards to a motorsports club, a picture of your car being prep'd for racing, and a time of when you expect to start autocrossing/HPDE.

Lastly, they never ask to renew your membership, so you can do 2 events and pretty much never worry about it again.

If you are building your Mazda for racing:
If you are preparing your Mazda now, and intend to be racing within the next 12 months you will need

-The estimate date of the first race you intend to compete in. (Within 12 months)
-A Racing Club Membership Card - Any sanctioned racing club. (car clubs not included)
-A Quality Photo of your car. (does not need to be in race trim)
