Im not sure where to begin. My names jake, ive been a miata fan for quite some time enough to where i could classify it as a dream car, as of 2 weeks ago i finally went out and bought myself a 2004 miata, it is the black cherry mica color with 115,000 miles on it. So far i have just done a oil change and bought some bridgestone potenza re 760 sport tires for it. Im currently trying to figure out what mods are common among miata owners and all thoughts are welcome and appreciated! Also if anyone can tell me how to post pictures that would be highly appreciated

Thank you for the input and offer despite the distance! Im really hoping for a Miata. I hope i dont have to switch it up to a different car to get comfortable... The v8 swaps in these cars are MEAN!!! Costly buy by god would it be a thrill. We shall see what happens. But im looking forward to a long and fun filled journey with whatever miata i acquire!

I think the best bang for the buck is installing a heavier sway bar. You will see lots of folks "slamming", or lowering their cars until there isn't any suspension travel left, which makes for a wonky-handling car. And if you plan to "daily-drive" this car, it will get old fast. A heavier sway bar makes your car handle better, and will identify the next weakest link in the chain, like tires, or replacing worn out shocks. So just do the sway bar and then listen to your car. It will let you know what the next mod will be.

Welcome!
