Default Greetings!

Hello everyone!

Made an account here yesterday as I am planning on purchasing a NA with a 1.8 or NB this summer(NC as a last resort if i am too tall). I posted about what hope for in the northeast section as thats where i live. I love driving a well sorted standard shift car, but this will be my first time owning a rwd machine. I think it is the perfect place to start. I am looking forward to reading up on all the great content here and hopefully getting out to a meet once I acquire my car. Ill be sure to post it up once i do!

Thanks,
-Jordan

So, how tall are you? I fit in my NC just fine at 6ft, 180 lbs. I've never sat in a NA or NB, but if they are anything like the ND, it could be tight. I got a short ride with one of the local Miata club members and the passenger seat in the ND was really tight. (As compared to my car) The best advice I can give is to find one of each and take some time adjusting the seat and see for yourself if you fit in it or not. Or better yet, find a Miata club local to you and let them know what your plans are. If they are anything like our members they will be happy to assist you in finding the right Miata for you. They may even know of where you can buy it!

Thank you very much for the offer I really appreciate it anyways! There is no way I could afford a ND at this point! So thats fine by me haha

As for the NC, your physical build is very similar to mine. I really dig the looks of the NB and NA in that order. But an NC may be the only option otherwise since I dont want to drive in pain and would love to take a road trip in the car at some point.

Ill keep you posed- some members mx-5miata.net told me about meets in my area so that will be a pivotal day!

At 6'1" I endured the stock NA seat for a while. It was better when I took out the rear mounting humps and straightened out the arms on the rear of the sliders.

That being said, I really like my Kirkey seats now that I switched to them but they aren't for everyone.
