Default Greetings from sunny San Diego

Hello everyone, my name is Raphael or Rafe. A little more than a year ago I bought a 1990 Miata. The guy I bought it from did a lot of work to it, he but on a turbo and all that fun stuff, it was the too much fun to drive, about a week after I bought it I burnt a piston, so sad. The engine was not built for the boost. And after having the engine rebuilt, she never ran as smooth as she used to. So as of now I am in the process of converting my car back to stock, removing the turbo, so I can start it over and do it right.
Here are some of the upgrades that have been done:
1993 long nose crank motor with MazdaSpeed motor mounts, Stronger 1997 drive train with Torsen limited slip differential, half shafts, hubs, drive shaft, transmission, complete exhaust system by RPM (Richards Performance Muffler), 1995 folding OEM Mazda power mirrors, (1995) OEM front brake and calipers, KYB adjustable Shocks,

Introducing Penelope;

(yes I name my cars, deal with it)

That's a clean looking car. You know you can gently pull up on the sheet metal of the headlight doors at the rear and they will line up with the hood again like new, right? Most of them are slightly bent down by people leaning on them when working under the hood.

What are your plans and goals for the car?

I did not know that, Thanks! Im not sure what I want to do with the car, I have though about a V8 swap, but I might just trow another turbo on or a super charger.

There are quite a few people who put a rollbar in them and do track days with them. I added a turbo and took it to the track. It is more fun than anything else I could do with it. And it won't get me arrested!

Rollbar is something I really need. I would like to put a turbo back on it someday, and do it right, just will have to save up the cash to do so
