Hello from Alabama!
Hi all,
I joined the forum earlier this week, just got around to saying HI! I've been reading up on the threads out here, getting as feel for the community.
I live in central Alabama. My Miata came to me from San Diego in August 2006. My kids named it the Red M&M! It was a replacement for my 1st Miata, a 1992 base model which my wife flipped in June 2006. She walked away from the wreck with a cut to her head; we count our blessings every day!
My Miata is 'painfully' stock! Classic Red B pkg, NB top, with 108k miles. I have a hardtop from a 1990 car for the winter months. The M&M has done many laps around Barber Motorsport Park, 20 laps around Talladega Superspeedway, and I'm in the planning stages of a run on Tail of the Dragon in the Spring!
Thanks, & looking forward to many enjoyable posts here!
Richard

Did you have a rollbar in the car before your wife's accident? Seeing that you are doing trackdays, I'm sure you have one now. We're glad to have you onboard!
If you get a chance to run at Road Atlanta with NASA or one of the other clubs don't pass it up. It's a really great track. But you might want to upgrade the brake pads before you do!
What are your plans for modifications?

Hi,
No, did not have a rollbar on my first one, and I am shopping around for one now.
Hoping to add an R-type trunk spoiler, upgraded brakes, maybe a Speedster Tonneau, some intake/exhaust work is down the road. I have a new set of KRB GR-2's in the garage, waiting for time to install them.
