Default Hello from Central Kentucky

Hello all

Just wanted to jump in and say hi to everyone. I'm really green to this car & forumz. I purchased my 1995 about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. As of rite now it's plain jane stock with the exception of replacing the factory head unit with a alpine & added a set of pioneer door speakers with a set of Memphis audio tweets on the dash. My future plans are to add a suspension upgrade with about a 1" drop & a set of 15 x 7 shoes to go along with. I'm also getting ready to add a nice leather upgrade to the seats. I'm currently working a custom wind blocker. Anyway just wanting to get in here and say hi, so I can get to know everyone and gain some more knowledge about my lil bit.

Welcome to the forum.

There are good and bad ways to drop the ride height on our cars. What are your plans for it, commuter, curvy roads, or maybe a track day in the future?

Well in Ky we don't have much as in track stuff. The car is actually my daily driver while the weather is good. I also go to a lot of cruise ins & shows on the weekends as well. My father owns a 2011 & 90 with a LS6 swap under the hood that we take along as well. In KY we have a lot of curvy roads, so the miatas are a blast on weekend runs just for joy rides. Ive been eye balling the flyin miatas stage 2.5 suspension package which should put me 12.5 in the front & 13 in the back. The wheels will be 15 x 7s @ 9lbs a piece. These are the wheels I'm looking at Kosei K1 TS Silver 15x7.

Are you getting the wheels from Good-Win-Racing? They are great people.

The FM kit is good. It's hard to throw rocks at it for any reason.

I really don't know yet. I was looking at gomiata but now I've heard some rough stuff about em. I've also looked at good win & moss.

I can't recommend Good-Win-Racing enough over those others.
