Miata Marketplace

For factory parts, I recommend Rosenthal Mazda. They have pretty much everything you will need as far as stock stuff. Choose their cheapest shipping rate if you do buy stuff from them, it will get to your house in the same amount of time. Onlinemazdaparts.com is pretty awesome too.

I wanted to do the NB dash conversion for a while, but the more I looked at it the more I like the 94-97 dash. I'm waiting to find one in good shape to swap into my 92.

For the hardtop, just keep your eyes peeled on craigslist. Plan on about a 800 to a grand for one, but if you're diligent you may be able to find one for cheap. About once a year I hear a story about someone who picked up a hardtop for >$500.

For the front lip, check ebay. There is a replica of the factory R lip and the Garage Vary lip that can be had for about 80 shipped, and fitment is pretty good.

thank you so much manm appreciate the help a ton, yea my buddy just found a hardtop for 650 and doesnt even have his miata yet lol

Vendors that can make you quick:
949 Racing
Trackspeed Engineering
Good-Win Racing

For the lip, I would look on ebay for the GV urethane lip. It is flexible and won't shatter like some others and might have the look you want.

For the engine, there is plenty of room in the 1.6 for two and a half times the stock power without having to open it up and add forged rods and pistons. The 1.6 and 1.8 have forged crankshafts and are quite durable.

The best way to go turbo is to add a stronger clutch, MegaSquirt computer, larger injectors, then add the turbo bits. For manifolds and downpipes, ABSURDflow and Artech are two fantastic options for beautiful pieces that will fit well and last forever. There are other options if you choose to go cast iron.

You may need to replace the weak stock 1.6 rear diff and axles at some point with the beefier ones out of a 1.8 if, no, when you blow it up.

That's not limited to the Z forums, that's Nissan in general, haha. I know coming from the 240 forums. No help anywhere once so ever. The Miata forums are completely different. Your car looks great, hope to see some updates with the project going forward.

I have a buddy with an r32 GT-R who absolutely hates GT-R forums because of how douchey the loser fanboys are on them. He says most of them don't have a GT-R and have never done anything themselves but want to criticize everything anyone does. They are all loser keyboard warriors according to him so he never posts anything about his car.
