Ouch. Well, you're not missing much with the photos, but the text Robbins includes is sometimes helpful. But if you pair up my thing with some of the ones on m.net, you should be good.

I want that top. I cut off my softtop and the frame work years ago. I run hardtop only, but I also ditched my A/C. In the summer it gets really hot in there and I like to pull the top off, but if I drive it to work, I obviously can't fit the hardtop in my trunk. I hate leaving my car in the lot with no top, so I bought a "California pop top" which is a garbage bag looking thing that covers my cockpit while it's parked. It's kind of a pain in the ***, but it makes me afeel a little secure. Out of sight, out of mind, ya know? Not that I leave anything worth while in my car to steal, but I just try not to give anybody a reason to want to mess with my car. I'd love to have a setup like yours. I'll check that blog out...
Thanks for the inspirational photos and welcome to the party!

That one has got to be a knockoff. Or is this one?
I am never there every day.
I hate to sound like a commercial, but you should get one when you have the funds, even with a non-well-running car. The company that makes it is small. They don't keep them in stock but rather do runs of a few at a time. To me, the G-String is right up there with my turbo as a top-5 favorite all time mod. It's simple, but it's very very well made. And it makes summertime cruising with no a/c very pleasant.
