nice drive for a day

nice drive for a day
We left out just to go riding and went through the small town of Cresson we continued on out 377 toward Grandbury not a lot to see but an ok drive.
After crossing the lake we decided to take FM 56 down to FM 51 and go the the small town of Paluxy. When you get there take the road to the left (Paluxy Cr) and drive around by the post office and up the hill to the church (the road loops around back to 51 ) on the left is an old Tabernacle that is worth stopping to look at and walk around and look at the secenery and the
the post that hold the roof up. ( I remember one in our little town years ago,our community leaders did not have the foresight to keep it up)
Might even take a picnic lunch and eat there and rest a spell.
When you leave take a left back onto 51 and follow it over to county rd 1006 which will take you back to Hwy 67 that will take you back to stephenville if you go right and back to GlenRose,Cleburne and event Dallas if you go left.
If time allows and you are headed back toard cleburne then take off at county road 2011 to the right and when you get to 2012 take a left and over to 203 .Take 203 left back to 67 or take it to the right and go to 2645 and turn left this will take you to 144 back to Glen Rose or to the right and go to Merdian
The road is fairly nice deep hidden curves in it as well as going down and up hills. When we got on 2011 we saw a lot of deer and small animals out
This would really be a nice drive if you could hit early morning say 7 A.M. and then eat a prepared meal or donuts at the tabernacle. It does have a concrete floor so a small blanket would be ideal to set or lay down on.
Who knows with a favorite loved one it could spark or respark some romance or at least a lot of innocent flirting while you are eating. Just remember it is part of the church across the road
If you have never seen a tabernacle than here is your chance and then you will know what one looks like
Will be glad to give any directions if someone needs help on how to get there ,can give directions on romance as well but think all of you can handle that lol
The drive from Cresson back over to Glen Rose is roughly 65 miles if you do the complete drive and only about 45 miles if you take 67 straight back to Glen rose
