So here it is, dirty turbo. I bought this car on the cheap($2100 with a hardtop) with the goal of a good daily driver/weekend track and autox warrior. I wanted to keep it cheap because i just want to beat it up and have fun doing it. Not going for show winner or even a head turner, more like wtf was that?
I decided that I wanted to do an extreme budget weekend fun car. The immediate goal of my car is to finish the body work - continue shaving the belt line and prepping the rest of the car for an eventual paint job. swap in a 1.8 and go forced induction, or if I want to screw the budget & try to do an LS swap. I plan on keeping and enjoying the car for a long time, so I'm not in any rush - just enjoying the ride.
I need this desire to push and to enjoy this outlet for my mental energy by looking for better, faster, more reliable, and cheaper ways of being effective on the track. It keeps me sane... and happy. Someone asked me today if I was ever going to paint it and I asked them, "Would that make it any faster?"
Thank you all for your consideration.

Just a nice, powerful, comfortable street car. That is the plan.
