Well, if you've got $1500 to spend then save up a few more bucks and get the best.

Xida Club Sport race coilovers Miata

Those shocks are supposed to be smooth on the roadway and make driving gods out of ordinary men on the track. No kidding. They are that good. And if you ever get rid of them they will retain most of their value used, unlike all of the others.

For the street and canyons, 600/350 or similar rates, yes on the dual springs. The fancy tophats are really nice but not totally necessary if you need to leave them out.

I am looking into suspension now for my 90 na. (i had a 240 with tiens on it and recently was told they arent worth it on a miata i donno i loved them on the 240.) But i just came across Fortune coilovers and they are looking pretty good to me ... its all out the set up and how you tune it but i was wondering if anyone has had a trial with them.

I've heard of the Fortunes but have no first hand knowledge. I built my own coilovers from some Bilsteins and some Summit Racing springs for cheap money. The Bilsteins from a Mazdaspeed Miata or the "Hard S" valved ones are really well valved.

Some Teins are not valved well for Miatas at all and can be pretty uncomfortable. Some Konis are junk on Miatas. Shocks that are not designed for a Miata are often crap and have incorrect spring rates for the car as well. Balance is important and proper high speed versus low speed damping is important.

If you dont mind me asking how much did you spend on your suspension set up? I keep hearing for a lot of people on here and other forums that Bilstiens are great. I put a set up on my friends turbo e30 (once again different car i know) and i drove it i was not a huge fan myself but he enjoyed it. Either way i guess i will have to check it all out.
