Default Boost problem

1996 with FMII set up and link control system. I have it set it 11psi but as I accelerate the boost drops to about 8psi. Switched to manual controller but no matter how much I adjust it the boost stays the same. Checked all the lines for leaks and haven't found any. I need suggestions on what to check next. This is a track car and has been going strong for 5 years. Wondering if the turbo is wearing out!

My first thought would be a Charge pipe is a little loose and leaking, vac lines, or intercooler. I doubt theres anything wrong with the turbo. But take the hoses loose check for oil in charge pipes there should not be much play in the compressor shaft.
If none of the above works pull the intercooler off. Plug one side, fill with water and check for leaks. Make sure you let it dry for a bit before reinstalling it.
Hope this helps
