Not really.. everything is expensive and taxed heavily. I would move outta here in a heart beat.

Emissions is obd2(1996) and newer gets emission tested. I don't think it matters how old the car becomes. It's done every year in Cook County (Chicago). Other counties follow the same or have a few variations. :sad2:

Technically, so long as they aren't throwing a code and the ecu is in a "ready state". They will pass. The few emissions testing places I've been too in Southern Chicago don't do visual inspection. And the state can't afford to do dyno testing. They just plug in the obd2 and send you on you're way.

Had to take a break from car work to rebuild the head and put a bigger motor on my air compressor. But now I'm back in action, and now have more motivation to restore parts!

Ok guys, need input. I have a set of turn signal intakes, and can't decide if I should leave them white, or paint them red. I'm not going to do much modding to the 92, but I do like the look of the TSIs. Thoughts?

Black looks good too. but on a different note. order a set of led bulbs. the inside of mine melted from the stock bulbs.

I'd paint em' red. white tsi's on a red car seems weird to me.

Lols. I meant which car should get the tsi's. I only have one set, and not sure which car to put them on. I had them on the white one, but its going to get put away for a while for a rebuild.
