yea, i have a weird clicking sound in mine when you turn hard right. tie rod ends are new so its not that. i think its inside that boot?

It has one, but it's really small. You can get to it by loosening the pinch bolt from it, and sliding the boot up and over. Honestly, if it's only clicking at hard right I wouldn't suspect the u-joint. How are your boots? the knuckle can fail if they are allowing dirt in.

they are fairly new, no holes crack.

BTW, you mentioned that your rear brakes were coming off. Are you upgrading and willing to part with an old caliper?;)

1 has a slide pin stuck, i may sell the kit locally to a guy building a gutted autocross car. but if i dont ill let you know.

did you catch if it come apart, or is it a buy a new rack deal.
