Welcome to the forum. We don't get many Sunburst Yellow cars here.

What are your plans for the car?

you guys might hate me for this but its not staying yellow im going to end up doing the fender flares and lowering it on a set of 15x12.5 in the rear and 15x10 in the front im still undecided on the color though

just fwiw its worth more as a sunburst car than painted a different color. its a rarer color, and extremely desirable.
if i were you i would paint it, clean everything up, make it run well and flip it then get one with a 1.8 to mod. just my .02

that sounds like a plan to me but its my first car and miatas arent cheap around here, well one in decent condition and eventually i was going to swap a 13btt into it my friend has one sitting in his garage, but ill just restore this one and get another one to do up the way i want

sometimes its worth a drive to pick up a clean car, i drove almost 5hrs one way to get the 96m i have now but it was worth it to me because there was next to no rust and the car was in great shape at an even better price.

They are a dime a dozen and rust-free down here in Florida/Georgia area. My buddy in Atlanta is about to haul off a rust free 1.6 chassis to the crusher that needs front end sheet metal and a bumper cover. It still has a complete drivetrain.

Diggin the yellow. I agree with the above. Flip it and go grab something from the south (arizona/tx/fl) that is in good condition and cheap!
