Gearbox/Differential Oil

So, Its time for me to change up my differential and transmission oil. I have been runinng Motorcraft SMT in the transmission and Redline Synthetic 75w90 in differential.

I am getting the feeling that the Redline in diff isn't doing so good, but won't know till I get it out and send it off for analysis. What do you guys suggest? I already ordered some Amsoil SVG for the differential. I will probably continue using the Motorcraft SMT as it seems to be holding up just fine, but I am open to ideas there.

Keep in mind my car will be seeing about 10+ track events and 2-4 autocrosses a year.

5 Speed or 6 Speed?

All the track junkies on MT love Amsoil MTG in their 6 speeds. Amsoil MTG is the only thing I have had in my 6 speed and I have never had a complaint about it.

yea, so I have been reading. Mine is a 5-speed. I might try the MTG first and if I don't like, I will have the 2 quarts of Motorcraft available. Any suggestions for the 5-speed?

I ran the amsoil in my 5-speed and it worked. It did make my 3rd and 5th syncros feel a little better. Shoot me a pm and I can get you the contact info of a guy who sell amsoil at cost.

I'm running the motorcraft stuff in the gear box, and royal purple 75w90 in the diff. I'm on a 6spd torsen. I'm going to change the diff soon, seems torsens like to beat on diff fluid in my experience.
