I'd like to suggest a "Mention" function. Basically how it works is like this, you find a thread you're sure a friend on the forums would be interested in. So you type in @ followed by their screen name. Then the person you "mentioned", will get a PM, leading to the post in the thread you think he'd be interested in.

For example, I see a msm specific thread, and I know Mazduh is another msm owner here, so I would type in my post...

@Mazduh

followed by my 2 cents in the topic at discussion.
