1999 Power mirror Switch Replacement
 

My side mirrors stopped working. I would like to know how difficult it is to replace the power switch. I can get to it from behind but am not sure how it pops out for replacement/teating. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Thanks

2004 Miate Power Mirror Switch Repair
 

My switch was only moving the mirrors in one direction. I used a small flat head screwdriver and was able to pop out the entire switch from the front. It came out very easy working around the perimeter with the screwdriver. I unplugged the switch and then used electronic spray cleaner and doused it from all angles while pressing the buttons in all directions. I then shook out as much of the cleaner as I could and let it dry in the sun. I reconnected the cable and it popped back in. Works like new now. You can also by a new used switch on Ebay. Swapping should only take 5 minutes.
