Shaking
 

I just had all my Struts replaced. My car felt like it was falling apart before.
I went to where I bought my convertible top and asked them if any of the shaking was coming from it. They said no. Now my car still feels like it's going to come apart. Any Ideas

Take it to a tire shop and get the wheels balanced. It could shake if a wheel weight from the previous balancing had fallen off. Or if the tire has some sort of abnormality like a belt separation, which can be quite dangerous, the car will shake violently because the tire will be out of round.

My car shakes pretty bad when trying to start off in first and in reverse. It does not seem to do it as much if I start from 2nd. I was told I needed bearings on the back tires. Could that be the problem for the shaking? I had my clutch replaced a year and a half ago and I was told it was my slave cable, then possibly my master cylinder, then my hydraulics. I had it all replaced and it does the same thing. Even worse.

The cause could be any number of things, including the tires, or the rear end. It might simply be a loose bolt or too. It would be difficult to define the cause over the internet...... Others may wish to argue that point :)


You need to have a diagnosis that you can trust.
