Carbon Fiber Hardtop question.
I am in the market for a hardtop and I am having a incredibly hard time finding one that is in decent shape for a reasonable price, I stumbled across a link for a carbon fiber hardtop. I am not sure how reliable the carbon fiber top is in my state (PA) since I get and I would be dailying the car with the top.
Hardtop This is the link for the carbon fiber hardtop My questions -Can the top be driven on a regular basis -Withstand cold climate -Will the fit be 100% as good as a OEM would be -Weather stripping the same as OEM -Will a Hardtop wing fit right up -Which is better acrylic or glass rear window -Anyone experience this top with any opinion -I have more questions but please help :sadwavey: :bang: |
So you can't find a stripped OEM hardtop for less than $1100?
Read the info carefully. Their FIBERGLASS top with no window or seals is $600 plus $500 freight ($1100 total). Carbon shell is $1200 plus $500 freight with no window or seals ($1700 total). Windows, both sides and rear window rubber aren't likely cheap. |
