so, bought my car for cheap because it had the famous early white paint that i was washing off with the pressure washer. it also was missing some dash pieces. I bought new dash pieces to replace the broken ones to find out that... the stupid gauge hood is a teency bit of a different shape and the clip is like 3 mm in the other direction of where it should be.
now... does anyone know where to get factory japanese/euro parts? even if i have to ship them (probably my only option)

 

Yahoo Japan auctions is a great place, or there are a few vendors that can get them. The shipping is gonna give you sticker shock though.

 

ya i'm expecting it to be an arm and a leg. more pissed off that i bought a usdm one and now i'm out a nice sum of money becuase nobody wants to buy parts from canada. (costs to much to ship)

lots of junkyards. no miatas. and especially nothing right hand drive. there is only a handful in canada. not a very popular car. but sure worth alot. they go for anywhere upwards of $6000 for an na. good resale for me

 

That's everywhere. People sell 1990 NA's with 90k on them for $6k here too. They think since it's a "sports car" it's worth 80% markup.

I'm sometimes a dick and reply to sales ads that their price is ridiculous and point out why.
