Default HID lights upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my lights and I'm doubting of what is the best choice. Someone suggested me using HID lights is better than the others. He gave me this site xenonpro for me to buy. Has someone have other suggestions which you think is better?

I've been running some generic HID "Slim" ballasts from VVME.com for over 9 years, no problem. Way cheaper. Their customer service was very good, but you are dealing with someone from China. If there's a problem, shipping will be a bit longer, or just assume that if you are purchasing so cheaply, if there's a problem, you'll just need to re-buy, like a ballast or something.

My friends and I bought a total of 9 kits. Out of the set, one had a bad ballast (out of the 18 total). Not a deal killer, but we were willing to simply get a new one and wait for the shipping. Was worth the cost. With a lot of US sellers, they're just selling importing and putting a premium on the kit. What you're paying for is the convenience of getting a replacement asap.

I have been told that HID bulbs can scorch the outer lens of the bulb housing. It is a cumulative effect over about a year or so. Perhaps you could consider LED bulbs as they are brighter than stock and produce less heat on the housing lens. Just something to think about.
