I am really proud of this.. the PO had put some kind of cover over it, seemed like it was made of bakelite or something weird. it had melded to be a part of the shift knob. after I looked at replacing it with a nardi shift knob, it was gonna be about 200 bucks for OEM..
Got the Dremel tool out. Took about 4hrs to get the junk off it.. then sanded it down and coated it 5 times with polyurethane.. Glad I did |

I have joined the ranks of the aftermarket shift knob club, got a voodoo of some sort from a mt member lightly used for cheap.

hmm nice knobs... I like them.. here is mine current shift knob which I am using now..
https://www.miataforumz.com/attachme...ine=1372157343 but planing to replace it with this white ball, because its more attractive and more beautiful. share your views guys.. https://www.miataforumz.com/attachme...ine=1372157343 |
I'm the wrong guy to ask. If it doesn't make it faster or more reliable I'm not devoting resources to it. But the white one is much more attractive than stock.
