So, disclosure: My wife bought this a couple years ago during the only stretch of good fortune we’ve ever had in our marriage. And of course, shortly after we did stuff hit the fan, and has continued to be fed into the industrial HVAC pusher unit. A month after we got it, the original top abruptly ripped itself while driving, so it’s spent its driving life with us top-down and its (largely) parked life wrapped in plastic. My wife hardly drove it due to needing to haul Kids and being intimidated by learning to drive standard, and aside from one winter I dailied it to work because my other car was acting up it’s very rarely been driven. An old tire lost its tread while driving a couple months back, so it’s currently sitting on the spare, which has only done about twenty miles. The paint has the usual complement of light scratches and small nicks, but aside from one parking lot dent-scrape on the driver rear quarter it’s all buff-out fare. Interior is perfect save for a couple small holes in the cloth seats. And aside from an ocassionally squeaky belt, that’s the full list of what’s wrong with it. It really is a beautiful car to look at and drive, but unfortunately it’s sat like an albatross for most of the time we’ve had it. And we both hate to lose it, but our life has been going from frying pan to fire and selling this car is literally the only thing that will keep us from going homeless. I don’t want to go sappy sob story, I just want to communicate that I’m a family man and an irrational car lover and I just need a reasonable price.
