Hmm yeah I remember where it was when I had my stock greddy.
:scratches head: |
yea and like i said it worked perfict yesterday, and then this morning it just said ---- you. if the sensor went out i would be pissed, it has like 500 miles on it.
|
i have two spare 4.2 sensors....sorry you got an oddball.
Utilizing the latest Bosch wideband O2 sensor -5 wire heated LSU 4.9 (Prosport Inc. is the only one in the USA to use them) our gauge now has the widest range 10.0:1 to 20.0:1 AFR readings on the planet. fwiw, 10-20:1 AFR is not the widest range. the lc-1 is 7.35-22.39:1 |
Yeah I had shitty luck with prosport sensors in the past, but since they are using a Bosch sensor in the WBs... I mean I guess its possible it went out but I would think highly unlikely.
|
its alright im always the odd one. :sad2:

well i sent the sensor and controller back to prosport for them to test. if they say its going to cost x to replace a part. im probably going to get a lc1
|

On a side note, i havent driven it at all since it ---- out. my tune was rock solid is it safe ( but not ideal) to drive for a day or so. My danger ranger is shitting a front hub, and it sounds like im ridding on like 45 super swappers going down the road. :bang: Ps. not trying to blow it up obviously. |
So it takes them a week and a half to test the wideband, everything checks out ok. :confused:get it back 3 days later, (yesterday) plug it in, still no go  double and triple check everything. i have it grounded to the block and am spraying starting fluid near it to make it read, and once in a while it does and then says ---- you and goes back to not doing ----. :vash: at that point i call in, they answer and i talk to them for a bit, and they say send it all back in and we can check it all and have it back within a few weeks. i decline and hang up, i dont have like 3 weeks for the car to be down, so i tear into the harness between the o2 and the controller, its all good, decide ---- it i voided the warranty doing that anyway i removed the connector from the 02 to the harness from the equation, still doing what it was doing (a bit of work then back to nothing) :squintfinger: im so done with this wideband, its just one thing after another with it. i sent it back the day i installed it because it didnt work on arrival. the evo boost gauge has had 0 problems. ---- prosport im taking my business as far away from them as possible. :pissed:
End rant |

so brain i replaced the clutch switch, mine was broken in full depressed postion. and it fixed the issues with cold idle, but still no go on luanch, netural saftey switch is unpluged. i set the tps trigger to about 20% of throtle, and 2500rpm to 3000rpm, it doesnt even show the luanch activating in the little box.
