Hello guys,
Please take a look at the attached picture. Is this the factory steering wheel cover?

It seems like 10 years ago when I bought the car, before I drove it off the salesman said he needed to recover the steering wheel.

I am looking to update because this one is coming apart on me.
Just don't know if this is a cover that comes off or the original the way it came from the factory. Thanks.

 

the steering wheel looks like the stock one to me. if you are looking for a new one, they sell them seperate from the airbag, so you will want to keep that part.

 

Hard to change out? Sounds not the easiest thing to do in the world.

can't tell ya really, but I don't think it will be too difficult. you gotta disconnect the battery for sure, that way the airbag doesn't discharge.

I haven't replaced my steering wheel yet, so I am not able to advise you there.
