Best tires for touring?

Hi all, I have a classic 1991 Mazda Miata with ~26k miles on it. I live in Maine and drive it only in the summer. I'm shopping around for a new set of tires (I bought the current set on it in 1992 just before driving it cross country from CA). Do you have any recommendations for tires. I live 2 miles down a dirt road, on which I drive very slowly to avoid potholes and uneven ground. Otherwise, I'm on pavement and usually drive around 45-50 on back roads. I usually buy Michelin for my CX5, but don't know what to look for for my Miata.

I replaced the Potenzas (SP?) that came with my NC with GoodYear Eagles and could not be happier with the change. The OEMs seemed to lack traction in the cold and on a wet road but worked pretty good under ideal temperature and road conditions, but for DD'ing, "ideal road conditions" have little to do with reality. ;) The GoodYear's stick like glue and wear like iron. (So far)

Good luck!

Thanks, Jerry. After shopping around and talking tires with several people, I decided to go with a set Mirada Sport GT2s.
