CaniBeat, NA Feature "Built To Perform"
Figured I would share this canibeat feature since I enjoyed reading through it
It says "Built to perform" however I don't believe stretched tires would have performed as well as a non stretched tire, but I'm not going to take anything away from this guys take on a Miata build http://www.canibeat.com/2012/06/buil...g-mazda-miata/ |
lol @ calling an incapable car able to perform. And lol @ RARE BRG Miata! So much fun, thanks!

It is also a bit amusing that after finding this "rare" car he drilled holes all over the body and put sheet metal screws through it. Fun stuff, lol.

Yea that looks like ass... Maybe if he put a proper wheel/tire combo I would like it. Get this slammed stanced crap out of here. I bet it handles terribly.

I don't like stanced cars either, I figured I would just share, there are a few things that are nice about this car, his interior looks pretty clean, sure not the best interior race wise but for a DD interior looks pretty good. speaking of wheel/tires what is a good offset for a rim on a NA, I'm looking at rpf1's for when I get NA, and if anyone has any personal exp. or insight on that rim just let me know.
I don't understand how this is "built to perform" when obviously it looks like it could barely handle driving in a strait line. :sad2: |

Don't get me wrong. I like some cars that are well done... But I absolutely hate the extreme stretched tire look. It's ok if it's like a 205 on a 7.5" wheel. But the guy's that are like wrapping 8" wheels with 195 rubber are dumb. The interior on the car and engine bay etc all look fantastic though.

I would think that the tires would wear out relly quick if the body does not cut a ring out of them at every bump.
if it does anything like the ones that came on our car did |
Anything that lists "oil cap" in the mods is instantly not worth reading.
That car is an embarrassment. I hope the owner comes into a situation where handling is priority and he quickly realizes how badly he's compromised the car's performance with this worthless (and sometimes dangerous) trend. And a huge LOL @ the "JDM" louvered headlight lid feeding air to the wrong side of the motor. |
