Default Headlight Ideas?

Well here’s my old beater 93 NA that I picked up just for the hardtop. It runs but needs a radiator and some obvious body work. It was hit high in the front above the inner bumper and took out both flip-up headlight assemblies. So, I plan on pulling the bumper cover off and gorilla gluing it back together to see if I can make it look okay for the time being.

To me the car is too good to part out, I think it will make somebody a good little zoom around. So, I’m thinking I’ll keep it a little while and tinker with it to get it back street worthy. But it’s going to need some headlights and I’m not going to spend any money on an aftermarket kit. So… if this were your project car, what would you do for “low dollar” headlights hmm?

Why aren't yo replacing with junk yard pop ups? If you're not for whatever reason, I would buy some bulbs, make a bracket, and then fab a housing around it so it looks like the stock ones only up all the time.

Yeah, I'm sure I can fabricate well enough. I'll stop by advanced and take a look, thanks for the info.

No junkyard miata's around here to speak of. And the frames and mounting area on mine are mangled badly, especially on the passenger side. I'm thinking more along the lines of putting headlights in the bumper cover holes somehow. I'm not a fan of up pop ups all the time, makes me feel like everybody knows they dont work.
