Hear-A-Squeak, There-A-Squeak!
 

After having changed out the shocks, sway bars and some bushings, there seems to be some squeaking going on in the rear suspension somewhere! Can I simply lube them with something or should I be suspect of a more devious problem? The ride is great, especially flattening out the cornering, thanks to the Racing Beat Sway bars. Come to think of it, when I installed the new RB stainless muffler, there were three mounting bushings that could be the squeaking culprit! Will do some crawling around and get back to you soon.

You didn't say what brand of bushing you installed. However, A liberal coating of ES grease should quiet them down though.

Thanks for your response. The bushings on the sway bars were acrylic material and came with their own "goo"! The other suspension parts replaced were the stock links that go between the sway bar and the chassis. They too had a provided lubricant. I used some of that on the muffler attachment bushings. I will re-do with the ES grease you mentioned. It will nice NOT to hear anymore noise from the rear end suspension.

You want to apply the grease very liberally on all of the surfaces. I recommend that you use latex gloves as the grease is more like glue than grease.
