I have a ricey idea...
 

I have some clear "euro" turn signals on my 92 and I'm thinking about painting the buckets to match the body, sort of like how they paint the headlight housings on the NB's. Will this look too ricey? Has anyone attempted it before?

I would bet it would Probobly look good, can always go back to silver or something if you don't like it.

Well, I have an extra set of cracked signals in the drawer of Miata parts. I stuck them in my powdercoating oven today and pulled the lenses off. Tomorrow I'll throw a coat of red on them to see how it turns out. If I like it, I'll put the clear lenses on and see how it goes. If I hate it, no loss. I don't think there will be much middle ground on this one. It's either going to look super ricey or Bad-Ass. I'm hoping it's the latter of the two.

------- awful. Looked like ----, and there's no way in hell I'd rock it like that. I was kinda hoping for the look like the Honda Fit headlights when they're color matched, but it wasn't even close. BAD IDEA.
