Hello.... thinking of buying an old Miata for Autocrossing and track... how do I know which ones have a Limited Slip Differential? Thanks!

Stay away from '89-'93 cars because they have weak differentials and smaller brakes (and the 1.6 engine). Typically, any '94-up car with tan leather seats or power mirrors with cruise control will have the TorSen limited slip. Because of the way TorSens work, you can't typically raise the wheels and spin them to find out. You almost need to pop the axles out of the diff and peek inside to be sure.

'94-up rear diffs are pretty indestructible with anything short of a v8 in front of them.
