Default Miata Five Speed Short Shifter

Can anyone advise on which is a good 5 Speed short shifter. Its for a rally racing application

I've not heard anything good about the short shifters for the 5 speed. The 6 speed, however, benefits from one noticeably.

In my opinion the throw is already short as hell from standard and it would put unnecessary strain on it
