Miata running rough

Hey guys, just picked up this 94 1.8 Miata. It has a rough running issue and IM trying To figure out what it could be. IM thinking maybe a crank position sensor? Thanks for the help!
For some reason it is not letting me post a video to show the issue. But the tach rpms jump all over the place, it lunges and lurches all the time, and smells like its running rich
