Hey guys, 91 1.6 liter third plug back is covered in oil. Starts to miss every three or so weeks and when I check plugs that one is covered with oil. Change plug and all is fine for a few weeks. What y'all think, rings or.......?

 

have a compression and leakdown test ran, may be rings or headgasket, or even valve seals.

 

the plug is covered in oil...on the inside (ie electrode and ground) or on the outside?

 

Valve cover gasket.

I didn't change mine for nearly 130k miles. I had two plugs covered in oil. Motor is still fine.

 

This, if the outside is cover in oil. Same deal about 130k and my plugs would be covered.

Valve Cover. feel the sides of the plug hole, does it have oil on it?

 

i had this- was valve cover gasket.
