Radiator Drain Plug

My plastic drain plug snapped in two. Jeez....believe it or not but all the local part stores in my area don't carry this. Does anyone know the size?

10mm ?

It seems everyone is saying that the "standard" for most cars is 14mm, which of course everyone has.

It's a pain :(

Mine was plastic. Metal is okay? The one you pictured here looks like the one for my oil pan. This works for radiator too?

Did you ever find what the correct size is? Mine got stripped and is now stuck in the rad. I'll try to drill it out but if that doesn't work then I guess I'll just have to get a new rad.

Try taking a Dremel/Rotary tool and grinding a new slot. Then take a much larger flathead, or even a quarter to unscrew it. If you accidentally hit the collar of the radiator spout, it’s not really a problem. It doesn’t seal there anyways.
