Rear, lower control arm, steering knuckle bolt...

It's stuck. The nut came off fine, but I'm assuming it's rusted to the control arm. All it needs to do is get pushed out. The other side took some effort, but finally came out. The other one will not budge.

I have tried using a breaker bar. I have tried using my impact gun. I have tried using my impact gun while hammering the other side. I've sprayed it with PB Blaster. No deal.

Anyone have some tips or tricks to get this?

Ah yea... need to get a torch first... prolly going to have to use one of those little ones since I'm working out of a storage unit.

Put a nut on it so you don't screw up the threads and hit it with a hammer until it breaks free.

Tried. At this point it's getting a new bolt either way so not too worried about the thread.

get a bigger hammer. the bolt can always be replaced or fixed. and definitely get a torch make sure its MAPP gas it burns a lot hotter than regular propane. propane wont make anything red hot but mapp gas will ;) its the yellow bottle

haha, I went through this exact same issue 2 weekends ago on my NB. I bought an outer tie rod 'puller' tool which is more of a compressor tool and I got them out but damaged the threads in the process (squished them). I could not get those damn things out for the life of me using a 3lb mini-sledge and a fork tool designed for outer tie rods.

So I ended up just smashing it with a hammer over and over plus using PB Blaster.

It came out. I win.
